Karen Merchant MS, OTR/L
Karen joined the DTA team in 2010. Before she became an OT, Karen was a preschool teacher. As part of her education as an OT, Karen trained under Lucy Jane Miller at the STAR Center in Denver. “It is a privilege to work with children and families and aid then on their journey to new achievements and successes. Helping children learn new skills, increasing confidence and overcoming obstacles one hour at a time make for a productive
and meaningful day. Celebrating accomplishments with the families and children are on to the highlight of being an occupational therapist.”
