Christopher Moore

Christopher (Christo) joined the team in 2022; after working in a pediatric home health setting. He received his Bachelor’s degree in psychology from East Carolina University and went on to get his Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Lenoir-Rhyne University- Columbia, SC. He is the occupational therapy lead for the Durham location. He has experience with various pediatric populations such as autism, ADHD, behavioral/self-regulation, sensory processing disorders, fetal alcohol syndrome, etc. He has knowledge in Primitive Reflex Integration, behavioral regulation, and certifications in Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) as well as Sensory Enrichment Therapy through Mendability. Sensory Enrichment Therapy is an online program designed for children with Autism (but can be beneficial for all sorts of sensory and behavioral deficits), to support neural development through novel sensory experiences. In his free time, he enjoys reading lots of books, cooking, outdoor activities (camping, fishing, horseback riding) and spending quality time with his wife, family and their dog.
