Killian Ayscue
Occupational Therapist
Killian joined the DTA team in November 2023. She graduated with her B.S in Public Health Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2021. She then moved to Hickory, NC where she obtained her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Lenoir Rhyne University. After completing her final fieldwork rotation in Raleigh, she decided to stay and make it her new home. Killian has occupational therapy experience with children of all ages with a wide variety of diagnoses in several settings including pediatric outpatient clinics, preschools, daycares, and elementary schools.
For as long as she can remember, Killian has always loved working with children, and she is very passionate about pediatric occupational therapy. She values having the ability to make positive impacts on children’s lives from a young age, while promoting long-term skills they will employ through their adulthood. She finds it very important to assist the pediatric population to become as independent as possible while promoting increased quality of life for not only the child, but also the family.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling to new places, cooking different recipes, going to country concerts, and reading. She has recently been attending NC State football games and exploring all that Raleigh has to offer.
